§6Intellectual property

All elements of the Platform (structure, source code, graphics, logos, icons, texts, mock-ups, illustrations, database, original photographs) are the property of the publisher of Plaany or its licensors, and are protected by Belgian and European intellectual property law (copyright, trademarks, databases).

Any full or partial reproduction, display, distribution, adaptation, translation or use, by any means, without prior written permission, is prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable under Articles XI.164 et seq. of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.

Content published by users (requests, portfolio photos, reviews) remains the property of its authors, who grant Plaany a licence limited to providing the service, as described in §9 of the Terms of Service.

§7Third-party trademarks and logos

The names, trademarks, logos and distinctive signs of third parties mentioned on the Platform (Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Google, Apple, Instagram, etc.) belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify the services we use, with no affiliation beyond what is explicitly stated.

§8Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

The competent supervisory authority is the Belgian Data Protection Authority (DPA).

§9Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies. Audience measurement (Vercel, PostHog) only starts if you accept it in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Details are in the Cookies section of the Privacy Policy.

The Platform may contain links to third-party sites. Plaany has no control over those sites and is not responsible for their content, privacy policies or practices.

§11Consumer dispute mediation

For a consumer dispute, you can contact the Belgian Consumer Ombudsman Service free of charge. If you live in another EU country, the European Commission lists the dispute resolution bodies of each country: consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

Any dispute about the interpretation or performance of this notice falls under the jurisdiction set out in the Terms of Service.
