When will Plaany be available in my city?
Plaany opens soon, across Belgium. Join the waitlist and you'll hear from us as soon as we open.
How much does it cost for a planner?
Using Plaany is completely free for planners: create project, receive offers, messaging, secure payment. No hidden fees.
How much does it cost for a provider?
Signup and profile creation are free. We take a commission on each completed transaction. Optional plans lower the commission (9% or 8%); the Pro plan highlights your offers (frame and PRO badge) and adds stats. See the Pricing section above.
How do you verify providers?
Each provider must create a Stripe Connect account before they can get paid. Stripe handles banking KYC: identity verification and bank details. A provider cannot send offers until Stripe has validated their account.
How does escrow (locked payment) work?
When you accept an offer, you pay the full price, collected by Plaany through Stripe. The provider receives the deposit they chose (0, 20 or 30%) straight away to cover their preparation costs. The balance stays with Plaany and is paid out to them two days after the event. Something wrong? Report it before that payout: we hold the balance while we look into it.
Can I cancel an event or booking?
Yes. You can cancel the whole event or an individual service. Depending on the time before the event and who cancels, the refund follows our transparent cancellation policy. Terms are shown before each confirmation.
Is my data protected?
Our database is hosted in Europe (Supabase, Frankfurt) and your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. A few technical providers process some data outside the EU (site hosting, automatic message moderation, maps): we list them all in our privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time and ask us for a copy of your data.
