When will Plaany be available in my city?
Beta launch summer 2026 in Belgium (Brussels, Antwerp, Liège, Ghent, Charleroi), then France (Paris, Lille, Lyon) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam). Join the waitlist to be notified in your city.
How much does it cost for a planner?
Using Plaany is completely free for planners: create project, receive offers, messaging, secure payment. No hidden fees.
How much does it cost for a provider?
Signup and profile creation are free. We take a commission on each completed transaction. The optional Pro plan (€29/mo) reduces the commission and highlights your profile. See the Pricing section above.
How do you verify providers?
Each provider must create a Stripe Connect account before they can get paid. Stripe handles banking KYC: identity verification, professional activity, bank details. A provider cannot receive accepted offers until their Stripe account is validated.
How does escrow (locked payment) work?
When you validate a quote, your full payment arrives on the Plaany account (secured by Stripe). The provider chooses their deposit (0, 20 or 30 %) when sending their offer — that deposit is released on booking to cover their preparation costs. The remaining balance is locked in escrow and released 48 h after you confirm the event went well. In case of dispute, our team mediates based on our cancellation policy.
Can I cancel an event or booking?
Yes. You can cancel the whole event or an individual service. Depending on the time before the event and who cancels, the refund follows our transparent cancellation policy. Terms are shown before each confirmation.
Is my data protected?
Plaany is hosted in Europe (Supabase Frankfurt). Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We are GDPR-compliant and do not share any data with third parties outside the EU. You can export or delete your account at any time.
